Meet The Panelists


Chris Kazi Rolle

Chris Kazi Rolle is an artist, social entrepreneur and a student of relationships. He is the founder and curator of Together Apart, a dating and relationship academy which produces educational events, media, enrichment products and services. Kazi has been featured on VH1, CBS and The Oprah Winfrey Show. Kazi’s work and inspiring life story is the focus of the feature length film entitled, “The Hip Hop Project“, executive produced by Bruce Willis and Queen Latifah. Danya Steele

Danya Steele is the founder of SALT: South African Leaders Transforming Tomorrow, a global media project providing positive PR on behalf of the African continent. She has been featured by Essence Magazine, on NBC’s “Our World” with Ed Gordon & Black Enterprise and on SABC, South Africa’s leading broadcaster, as an “SA Hero.” Danya has spoken at Oxford University, Columbia University and been lauded by the US Ambassador to South Africa as a “young American making a difference.” Her work has meanwhile been called “impressive and inspiring” by Prince Cdeza Dlamini, grandson of Nelson Mandela. Michael Margolis

The son of an inventor and artist, Michael Margolis is fascinated by how ideas socialize into reality. By the age of 23, Michael was a founding member of two social enterprises -- yet felt something was missing from the conversation. Today, as President of Get Storied, Michael oversees an education and media company including Story University, Reinvention Summit, and The New Storytellers podcast series. Despite his unconventional approach, Michael’s work has been featured in Brandweek, Fast Company, and Storytelling Magazine. Jullien Gordon

Jullien Gordon, The PurposeFinder, is a motivation teacher and the country’s leading voice on purpose and professional growth for working professionals and college students. He is currently CEO of the Department of Motivated Vehicles, a personal and professional development company designed to help millennials discover and align their lives with their purpose and passions through motivational teaching and speaking, coaching, ecourse, and corporate consulting. Roxanne Hai

After receiving an undergraduate degree in Communications from Boston University and a Master’s degree in non-profit management and organizational design, from the London School of Economics,Roxanne Hai has continued her education as a life coach by training with Accomplishment Coaching. Having lived in over six countries across three continents, her diverse background has given her a fresh perspective on life and it. Currently working at TED, she also runs a successful coaching practice on the side and is Co-Founder and Coach of The Empowerment Circle, a small group forum for personal development and transformation in New York City. www.roxannehai.com

 

Gabrielle Bernstein

Gabrielle was just one year out of college, when she co-founded the Women’s Entrepreneurial Network, a non-profit professional organization that connects female entrepreneurs. WEN started a local mentor program for young women, WEN Mentors, and is best known for its signature Gift of Service Exchange events. That same year, Gabrielle incorporated her own boutique public relations company, SparkPlug Communications. Since 2004 Gabrielle, who has a degree in theater from Syracuse University, has been on the speaking circuit. She also shared her message through a guest spot Satellite Radio’s LIME station 114 hosted by Karen Salmansohn. In 2007, she launched the brand Falling in Love with Your Future: A Young Woman’s Guide to Passion and Happiness, which takes the form of books, life coaching, lectures and more. An integral part of the program is the emphasis on guidance and mentors. Ngozi Odita

Ngozi Odita is the founder of Society HAE (SHAE) an online media site and production company that promotes emerging art and culture from a global perspective and serves as its Creative Director and Executive Producer. In the role of Creative Director Odita leads SHAE’s editorial and creative teams and overseas the production of SHAE’s video shorts and news stories. As Executive Producer, Odita has worked with over 200 artists and produced more than 30 events attended by close to 50,000 people.
